Record of wedding lists her as oldest daughter According to the records of Western Lutheran Evangelical (Saxon Lutheran) Cemetery at Ashland, Marcus & Lexington in North St. Louis as listed in the book, "Old Cemetaries of St. Louis County - Volume I" by the St. Louis Genealogical Society, four Grosses were buried in the cemetary, Moritz, Wilhelmine, Louise and Hermann. The cemetary was located across the street from the third location of Immanuel Lutheran Church. According to the records of Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3540 Marcus, 63115, nine children (5 sons and 4 daughters) of Moritz and Wilhelmine were baptized at the church. Five children of Moritz and his first wife, Christiane, were baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Soulard. The Death Notice as posted in the May 1, 1909, issue of the St. Louis Post Dispatch indicates her place of residence as 4514 Delmar and funeral at Emmanuel Church, 15th & Morgan, the second location of the congregation. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Birth: Mar. 21, 1832, Germany Wilhelmine married Moritz Ernst Grosse in 1849 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Louis (Independent City), Missouri. Children born to Moritz and Wilhelmine were; Christiane Emilie, Johanna Maria, Friedrich Hermann Moritz, Carl Ernst Hermann, Martha Clara, Louise Mathilde, Otto and an Infant.
