Note

Missouri was named after the state and county seat in which her
mother had lived. She lost both parents while she was yet a child
from the Yellow Fever epidemic, then was taken care of in some way
until her marriage. This information came from Rev. Abel Swan.

Note

The family moved from Dallas City, Illinois to Riceton, Saskatchewan,
Canada in 1912.
